Gretings from Croatia

Recommended Posts

Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia.I haven't seen any itro topic so let me introduce myself.I'm airsofter from Zagreb, member of USMC themed team wich is a member of Croatian Airsoft Federation.I'v registered here because we need a bit of help.As we've heard airsoft is a registered sport in Romania, we would like to know if it is possible to get legal documentation of registration of airsoft as a sport or if someone can help us obtain it (preferably in English, but anything is better then nothing).Point is that we are also looking to register airsoft as a sport in Croatia. Thanks in advance.

Hey thx, this is really helpfull. We had idea to organize IPSC-like airsoft shooting competition in order to statisfie the competitional end of the whole thing. To register it as sport, along with presedan from other country/countries, we had to form up national association of registered airsoft clubs/associations wich had to have more than three members (right now CAF is composed by thirteen teams, more to come) and to define at least one discipline for competition.

If you don't mind, I would like to trouble you some more, and ask what kind of legal or other problems you encountered when you were in the proces of registration?

The only problem for us, at that time, was to demonstrate that we had a quantifiable sport regulation. After some discussions Mr. Liviu Herteg from Cluj-Napoca gave us the "Airsoft Patrol Regulation". With this regulation and many other airsoft related documents we managed to prepare the file required.

Crash if you want to see how this regulation works, your team is invited to Dacia Rex Coup on 10-12 august 2012 in Cluj.

If you are intrested, please tell me and Dacia Rex Association will send you a formal invitation.

Best regards.
